Green Tara is the female Buddha and Mother of all Buddhas. She is known as the “mother of liberation”. She is the most beloved female deity in Tibetan Buddhism and the most accessible in general.

She is the ultimate personification of compassion and wisdom in female form and is revered for her quickness to help those who rely on her. It acts as an unconditional guide and protector. She helps all sentient beings find freedom from pain. She provides protection when practitioners face physical or emotional challenges. She helps to interrupt false and toxic thoughts about ourselves. She dissolves self-criticism and negative beliefs. She helps to cultivate self-compassion and redefine our worldview. She drives away frustration and despair.

Practicing with her releases man from fear and from the eight obscurations: pride, ignorance, anger, jealousy, wrong ideas and dogmatism, greed, attachment and doubt.
